Hey Pete,
Check out the latest release of PicPush, then go to preferences -> Plugins and Download Plugins.

There is only 1 plugin right now, and its for Twitter as you suggested. After installing go back to "Prefs -> Plugins -> PicPush Tweeter" to configure your login and tweet schedule.

[...] Also, a great feature was suggested by Pete, which is to upload pass a message to a twitter app when an upload is successful. This is a great idea and work has already stared on a slight variation of this feature. In short PicPush will support plugins which can listen for broadcast intents (Android’s version of events) which indicate that an upload completed successfully. The plugin apps can then do whatever they wish with with the broadcast data. [...]

          @Pete, please describe in more detail the feature you would like to see. When would the tweet be sent, what would the contents of the tweet be?
         </blockquote>
Did you understand my last comment about uploading to gallary 2 and then tweet the photo or share photo to twitter?

Hi,

I have got PicPush set up for uploading my pictures to flickr, which is working great, apart from one thing which is quite frustrating. Every time it uploads a picture, the privacy options are set so that only I can view the picture, so I have to login to flickr and change that. I could not see any options in the PicPush (or my flickr) settings to change this.

I used to have a Nokia N95 8GB and uploading to flickr worked with the Share Online application.

Can you suggest anything, or is this a known issue within picpush?

Thanks,
Aaron

Hello,

Great app... Just a question!

When I upload to Facebook... The pictures need to be validated from within Facebook before they appear. Any way to bypass that ?

Thanks !

@adewilt The exact file that is on the device is uploaded. Whatever happens to the EXIF data after that depends on the service you are using.

Hi there, does you app preserve the exif location data, since the standard Picasa upload doesn't and I would like to have my photo's geo-tagged online with a nice (google) map to the side without using my computer to enter exact locations again.
